Certification – they should have a certification by an industry leader, such as the Institute for Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) or the Restoration Industry Association (RIA).  Certification tells you that the company has devoted time, effort, and finances into getting their personnel the best training possible.
